If you have tried all of the other solutions for opening PK3 files and nothing else works, it may be worthwhile to try a universal file viewer such as File Magic. It may help you to view PK3 files, even if it is in a binary format. This is the list of folders that at least should be included. File Magic is a universal software viewer that enables you to open and view the contents of some PK3 files. The errors range from small errors such as 'extra (unnecessary) files' or 'no arena or levelshot files' to larger errors mainly including the 'map or bak' files with the pk3.Ĭreate a folder on you desktop (or other)called 'PK3 Creation' for the pk3 folders to be placed. On the maps page 43 out of 59 maps have at least one error.
I am quickly typing this as it seems people don't know how to create the pk3 properly.
